Headache While Pregnant

ANSWER “So you may wonder if a headache when you’re pregnant is normal. For some women it may be, this can be just the effect of the hormones on your body from the pregnancy. You can be a little bit dehydrated. You may not have eaten as well that day. So those are things that you want to look at first. Drink a ton of water. Get something in your belly, lay down a little bit. If you’re starting to have a headache that’s not going away, it’s getting more severe, especially if you’re noticing some visual changes. Do you want to let your provider know about that right away? Don’t let it go on for a few days because they may need to bring you in to evaluate a little bit further to make sure that everything’s going okay.”
