How to get your body ready for pregnancy

“You are thinking about preparing for pregnancy. There are a few things that I’d like to suggest for you to start doing. So, One is check in with your primary care. Get any blood work that you need to get done, Physical examination and that includes the heart and lung that includes range of motion and includes nervous system and any blood work that you might need to look into. So that’s kind of the medical side. If you are not active, I encourage you to be active and it’s not just you’re, you’re feeling good, but you want to make sure that you’re having healthy body going into pregnancy because there’s so many different changes that happen within your body. There’s so many things that can be unexpected. So if you’re operating at optimal health, going into pregnancy, the bounce back is going to be that much sweeter.

The other part of that is making sure that your nutrition is on point so you don’t have to be perfect. But, start journaling. I love journaling. Start journaling. What are you putting in your body? Because a lot of times we don’t realize some of the processed food that we eat, or even, some of the drinks that we consume aren’t really beneficial to the nutrients that you’re going to need because baby is going to be utilizing those resources as well. So you want to make sure that you’re assessing not only the medical side of it, the exercise side of it, but also the nutritional side of it. So those would be my three biggest suggestions. If you’re looking to conceive.”
