When you’re pregnant, there’s so much to think about, but the overriding thought is that you want to give your baby the best possible start in life. You want to give your baby the best, love, the best environment, the best clothes, the best food, but you might want to think about one more thing given your baby, the best possible immune system. You might have heard of the word microbiome or you might not. You might have heard of gut bacteria. It’s all the same thing, and microbiome essentially means micro meaning microscopic biome is a field of study about life. So it’s, it’s the. It’s looking at the microscopic world and that makes it sound so simple, but it’s like an onion. Peel back all the layers and when you peel back the layers, you realize how are our human cells interact with our bacterial cells? This is integral to human health. I mean, it sounds crazy, but just to think about your baby’s bacterial ecosystem, to think about giving the baby, the mother’s bacteria during birth and ideally exclusive breastfeeding. The way that happens, we will determine the child’s health for the rest of its life because it’s all about the optimal training of the infant immune system, so setting up the baby’s immune system for the rest of its life.
