Pregnancy After Miscarriage

[TRANSCRIPT OF ANSWER]

“If you’ve had more than one miscarriage, you can absolutely still have a baby. The reality is that you have a 70% probability of having a baby, even if you’ve had multiple miscarriages. That’s the best part of knowing this is that no matter what, don’t worry if we do nothing and you keep trying, you will have a baby in your arms. The reality is that if you’ve had more than two miscarriages and they’ve seen it on an ultrasound, or you’ve had three, what we call biochemical pregnancies, basically, pregnancy tests that have been positive and then go negative, you need to see a fertility specialist. We need to figure out why it’s happening to avoid the next miscarriage. And if we find that everything looks okay, rest assured you will have a baby eventually.”
