Are you too old to get pregnant?

“That’s a really good question. And I know that’s a question that every everybody thinks about. And it’s a hard answer to give you exactly except for that you have to realize that age does matter in your fertility. When you’re under 35, your chance of getting pregnant is about 20% per month… and by the time you get to 40, it’s 10% per month above the age of 45, 45 and up, your chance of pregnancy is 1%. So even as someone who does IVF, My society, the person who kind of says, Hey, practice the best way to medicine, they recommend that I can’t use your own egg above the age of 45 ethically and do IVF. Because the probability of me getting you pregnant and you getting pregnant naturally is going to be the same, less than 1%.

So you need to keep in mind when you’re thinking about your life and where, if you want to have children and when you’re planning your own life. If you aren’t ready to have a child yet, you should think about, Where your ages and if you’re above, if you’re below 37, it’s ideal to think about freezing your eggs. Egg preservation allows you to expand your family in the future, but you don’t have to make that decision right now if you don’t have a partner or if your career is not in the right place to, to pursue fertility.”
