Christi Jones, RN, (CCE, CD) Christi received her diploma in nursing from Bon Secours Memorial School of Nursing in Richmond, Va in 2002. The Navy brought her and her husband to Virginia Beach in 2003. Since then, they have welcomed 4 children to their family, in three different hospitals in the Hampton Roads area, all with the help of a labor coach or doula. A number of friends began asking Christi to be present at their births and it was then that she decided to pursue a formal education in childbirth education and doula training, which she received through Charis Childbirth Services in 2008. Together with her business partner and long time friend, Aimee Roberts they founded Birth InSight and have served over 600 couples in their births and taught and encouraged thousands of couples in learning what to expect through childbirth education, both online and in person. Christi wishes to give other women the support that she so greatly appreciated in her own labors. Christi loves learning and educating on all things related to birth, essential oils, and personal growth. Her passion is not only serving women, but also teaching couples to prepare for their births and to set them up for a birth story that they will treasure. Then, to take that knowledge that they gained from their birth journey and help encourage them on their journey into motherhood.
